Why is this awesome? I don’t know what this is but it’s totally awesome.

This is so cool.

This is a French animated show named Wakfu. I watched a few episodes but I still need to watch more. I believe there are two seasons out right now.

What’s most jaw-droppingly amazing is that this is pure Flash animation. Not 3D animation or anything like that… pure Flash. When I first saw this fight scene I had trouble paying attention because I kept screaming “HOLY SHIT” over and over.

That’s actually incorrect, it’s not pure Flash! The show is done mostly using flash but they also put 3D elements into the show and do a lot of traditional animation as well. If you like the show you should totally check out the ‘Making of Wakfu’ books. They go in to so much detail about how the show is made and the concept art. They are some of my favourite art books, but I would expect no less from such an amazingly well done show!

Ooh! I stand corrected! I have to get those books because this show is such animation quality.
